Dr. Prakasha Chigahalli Ramegowda is selected  as a JSPS Postdoctoral Fellowship for Research in Japan (Standard) under the 2nd recruitment of FY2019-2020.

JSPS provides Postdoctoral Fellowship programs for overseas researchers who have an excellent record of research achivements to conduct collaborative research under the guidance of Japanese researchers (Host researcher) in Japan. The program is intended to help advance the overseas researcher’s research activities while promoting science and internationalization in Japan.

This time, Dr. Prakasha Chigahalli Ramegowda (host researcher: Daisuke Ishihara, Associate Professor) has been awarded a Postdoctoral research fellowship (Standard program). The recruitment phase of the hiring foreign researchers has a very narrow selection process with selection ration 9.4% (1228 applications were received, among which 115 fellowship were awarded).
